A TURKTEX collection
PEX is a polypropylene yarn collection made by air texturing olefin material. The process gives synthetic yarn a natural appearance, generous volume and soft touch.
At 0.94 g/cm³, olefin is markedly lighter than polyester at 1.38 g/cm³ and nylon. Around 50 percent additional volume from air texturing brings both performance and a cost advantage to the fabric.

Low-density polypropylene establishes a light, low-moisture foundation.
The yarn gains a natural appearance, greater volume and a softer touch.
High-fastness masterbatch and the Turktex UV stabiliser are incorporated into production.
Compatibility with weaving and needle punching creates a soft, durable upholstery surface.
Flexible production
PEX is produced in hundreds of colours and various counts, with new colours developed on request. Unicolour and multicolour options create distinct surfaces across standard PEX and DTY variations.
